Who are We?

We’re a family of veteran nerds and caregivers, one Bioinformatician, one Anesthesiologist, on a mission to build apps that make life easier, clearer, and a little more delightful.

We started Kaia Cares to solve problems in our own lives—tracking data, simplifying decisions, and avoiding the chaos of a dozen tabs and spreadsheets. And once we saw how helpful these tools could be, we thought:
Why gatekeep?

Yes, there are similar apps out there. But ours are built with love, clean design, and a deep respect for good data—plus thoughtful visualizations and interpretations to make everything feel accessible and empowering.

Also, throughout our rigorous education, we made sure to teach everything we learned to our dogs. As a result, they now hold honorary degrees in Genomic Sniff Sequencing, Paw-sedation Pharmacokinetics and Napology. 🐶🎓

Why Us?

Kaia Cares is founded and operated by a bioinformatician who understands the complexities of health data. But we don't work alone—all of our data interpretations, formulations, and app testing are validated by fully licensed physicians. Every tool we build is tested against the same medical references used in residency programs and clinical practice—so you get insights that are both technically sound and clinically relevant.

Kaia

Chief Aesthetic Officer (CAO)

Kaia oversees all matters of beauty, grace, efficiency, and judging the neighbors. Brings elegance to the office, attitude to the meetings, and a strong “this isn’t up to my standards” energy when anything is even slightly out of place.

Nico

VP of Toy Acquisition and Vocal Affairs

Nico is loud and ambitious. Has never had a quiet thought. Specializes in high-energy morale boosting, surprise bark audits, and ensuring every oversized toy gets the playtime it deserves.

Calvin

Executive Director of Greivances and Oversight

Calvin is a nap hard, work harder so I can nap hard type of dog. He Doesn’t play, but will loudly object if others do without him. Maintains a strict nap schedule and enforces company-wide FOMO policies. Thinks he’s above it all—but is secretly the neediest.
